Coppery & Bronzy MakeUp Look Using New Products + Final Verdict

Aloha beautiful!

In my last post, I shared my first impressions on beauty products, which I have recently bought. If you haven’t read it, I will link the article (here), so that you can read up on it and  know which products I am talking about.

Coppery and Bronzy MakeUp

In my post today, I will use some of these products and create a coppery, bronzy makeup look which I hope you’ll enjoy and maybe recreate. Also, I will let you know if my final verdict on each new product either confirms my initial first impression or not.

Soleil Tan De Chanel by Chanel

Final Verdict:

  • Since my tan faded a little bit, the product showed up much better on my skin and I really liked the velvety finish of it.
  • Even though the color is a bit on the warmer side, I like how I was able to use it as a base for my contour and bronzer at the same time.
  • It smells delicious and blends beautifully into my skin

Final Verdict Rating: (1=I don’t like it at all; 2=I don’t like it; 3= I don’t know yet; 4= I like it; 5= I like it a lot) :

4/5 (because of its price point)

Soleil Tan De Chanel – CHANEL 50$

Radiant Creamy Concealer by NARS (I have repurchased this one several times)

Final Verdict:

  • There is not much to say, except –  this is my favorite concealer I have tried so far!

Final Verdict Rating:

Radiant Creamy Concealer -NARS 28$

Say No To Redness Color Correcting Concealer – ESSENCE

Final Verdict:

  • The consisteny of this concealer was a bit greasy and thick.
  • It blended well
  • Once I put my foundation on top, the concealer ‘moved’ and didn’t really cover my redness properly

Final Verdict Rating:

Color Icon Blush By Wet’n’Wild

Final Verdict:

  • I really enjoy this blush because of its beautiful and soft application.
  • I like the sheen (not glitter) and hint of color that it leaves on my cheeks.
  • It is bendable
  • Can be used as a blush+soft highlighter

Final Verdict Rating:

Eyestudio Gel Eye Pencil by Maybelline; High Liner Gel Crayon by Marc Jacobs

Eyestudio Lasting Drama Waterproof Gel Eye Pencil by Maybelline

Final Verdict:

  • I really liked the smooth texture of the pencil which made the application glide on easily
  • The down side to the creamy consistency – it settled into my lashline and made it difficult for my eyeliner/mascara to cover up
  • I also really enjoyed the rich coppery color that stayed on for a long time

Final Verdict Rating:

High Liner Gel Crayon Blacquer by Marc Jacobs

Final Verdict:

  • I like the intense black color of this Gel Liner
  • And the creamy, easy application
  • I didn’t like the fact it didn’t stay put but ‘melted’ away after a short time.
  • The constant twisting, to get product out and thus it depletes very quickly- makes it not wort the high price

Final Verdict Rating:

Additional eye products used in this look:

Eyeshadows: Morphe – 35O Palette + MakeUp Geek – Peach Smoothie & Latte

Eyebrows: Anastasia Beverly Hills – Brow Wiz in medium brown and the clear brow gel

Aqua Lip Liner by MakeUp For Ever

Aqua Lip Liner by Make Up For Ever

Final Verdict:

  • I really like the color (especially for slightly overlining my lips and to apply all over my lips)
  • The consistency is perfect for a lip liner: Not too soft (so it doesn’t move around) and not too hard (to make it hard to apply)

Final Verdict Rating:

Additional lip products used in this look:

Lipliner: MAC (stripdown)

I also used the Eyestudio Lasting Drama Waterproof Gel Eye Pencil by Maybelline onto my lips to tie the whole look together.
