Soleil Tan De Chanel – CHANEL 50$

New Product:

Soleil Tan De Chanel by Chanel is a light cream-gel bronzer with a velvety finish!

First Impression:

  • Packaging: It comes in a large, round  glass container.
  • Color: The color is slightly on the warmer side and ideal if you are more pale and want to naturally bronze up your face. I feel like that it didn’t work that well when I was more tanned.
  • Formula/Texture:The texture is amazing as it seemingly and naturally blends into your skin and leaves a velvety finish.
  • Price: 50$ at Nordstrom

First Impression Rating (1=I don’t like it at all; 2=I don’t like it; 3= I don’t know yet; 4= I like it; 5= I like it a lot) :

Radiant Creamy Concealer -NARS 28$

New Product:

Radiant Creamy Concealer by NARS is a high coverage concealer (THIS IS A PRODUCT I HAVE REPURCHASED SEVERAL TIMES)

First Impression:

  • Packaging: It comes in a clear tube and the applicator is ideal to conceal the under eye area.
  • Color: There is a variety of different colors (a lot of them are ideal for more yellow undertones. I love using the shade ‘ginger’ to cancel out darkness and ‘custard’ to brighten my under eye area.
  • Formula/Texture:The texture is very creamy (hence the name) and it doesn’t settle into my fine lines underneath my eyes. It is good coverage but on days when my darkness is extreme it doesn’t cover all of it.
  • Price: 28$

First Impression Rating (1=I don’t like it at all; 2=I don’t like it; 3= I don’t know yet; 4= I like it; 5= I like it a lot) :

Say No To Redness Color Correcting Concealer – ESSENCE

First Impression:

  • Packaging: It comes in the form of a big crayon. The outside is made of plastic.
  • Color: Essence came out with a range of different color correcting concealers and the green one is suppose to cancel out any redness on your face (such as acne/ acne scars, redness around the nose or mouth)
  • Formula/Texture:It is a somewhat creamy formula that is bendable. It is great for covering and color correcting small areas on your face (such as blemishes).
  • Price: 2.99$

Color Icon Blush (Rose Champagne) – Wet’n’Wild 2.99$

New Product:

Color Icon Blush By Wet’n’Wild

First Impression:

  • Packaging: It is a very basic, plastic packaging. I dropped this blush (different color) that I had bought and it didn’t survive.
  • Color: If you are looking for a pigmented blush than this product is not for you. For a good payoff you have to apply several layers. However, I personally prefer a softer blush.
  • Formula/Texture: It leaves a beautiful sheen (not glitter) on your cheeks paired with a hint of color. It is very bendable and I love to use it as a subtle highlighter and blush in one on top of my bronzer.
  • Price: $2.99

First Impression Rating (1=I don’t like it at all; 2=I don’t like it; 3= I don’t know yet; 4= I like it; 5= I like it a lot) :

New Product:

Long Lasting Water Eye shadow by KIKO

  • Color: It is a cool toned, taupy brown. #207
  • Formula/Texture:The formula of these eye shadows is very creamy and soft. You can use it either wet or dry and create the effect of multidimensional looks by using only one.
  • Price: 4.90€

New Product:

Infallible by L’Oréal

First Impression:

  • Packaging:It comes in a round container and the packaging makes it look pricey/good quality
  • Color: The color is golden emerald.  It looks exactly like the name would suggest. A golden deep green.
  • Formula/Texture: So far I have only swatched it on the back of my hand and I have been a bit disappointed as I found it hard to blend and the color payoff was not as intense.
  • Price: 7.99$

First Impression Rating (1=I don’t like it at all; 2=I don’t like it; 3= I don’t know yet; 4= I like it; 5= I like it a lot) :

Color Icon Single Glitter Shadow by Wet’n Wild

  • Packaging: A very basic small single eye shadow container. It is made of plastic.
  • Color: 352B  Brass/Laiton. It looks like a beautiful yellowy gold glitter.
  • Formula/Texture: I only swatched it on the back of my hand and  I was impressed with the glitter payoff. I can imagine it to look nice as a winged liner or as a highlight in the center of your lid. I am excited to see how the staying power is.
  • Price: 1.99$

Eyestudio Lasting Drama Waterproof Gel Eye Pencil – Maybelline; High Liner Gel Crayon Blacquer – Marc Jacobs; Aqua Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil – Make Up For Ever

New Product:

Eyestudio Lasting Drama Waterproof Gel Eye Pencil by Maybelline

First Impression:

  • Packaging: It comes as a crayon with a plastic top. The crayon itself is covered in a metallic casing.
  • Color: Striking Copper 610. I really like the bright, metallic copper shade and think it would make especially brown eyes pop.
  • Formula/Texture: I only have swatched it on the back of my hand yet, but it was creamy and precise. It is suppose to stay on for 16 hours and I can agree that it was somewhat difficult to wash off my swatch.
  • Price: 6.99$

First Impression Rating (1=I don’t like it at all; 2=I don’t like it; 3= I don’t know yet; 4= I like it; 5= I like it a lot) :

New Product:

High Liner Gel Crayon Blacquer by Marc Jacobs

First Impression:

  • Packaging: It comes in a little container and the eye shadow itself is pressed in form of a wave which is nice effect. The container also has a little mirror which I haven’t seen in single eye shadows before.
  • Color: It is a nice, deep (almost wet looking) black.
  • Formula/Texture: I wanted to like this product but it just didn’t work for me. The gel like formula doesn’t allow a precise application and when applied in my waterline it immediately melted into my lashline. I tried to apply it as a liner on my upper lashline but the tip didn’t allow for a precise application. Furthermore, I noticed that one application used the whole tip of the liner making me to twist it up every time which seems to be a waste of product.
  • Price: 25$

New Product:

Aqua Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil by Make Up For Ever

First Impression:

  • Packaging: It is a simple crayon similar to the Maybelline one mentioned above.
  • Color: Matte Black – I was disappointed with the color because it was not a deep black how I like my khol pencil to be. It rather looks like a greyish black.
  • Formula/Texture:Even though it says that this eyeliner is waterproof, I noticed it melting from my waterline after 30 minutes after applying. I was disappointed because I heard so many great things and it claimed to be exactly the opposite – high pigmented, long lasting.
  • Price: 18$

First Impression Rating (1=I don’t like it at all; 2=I don’t like it; 3= I don’t know yet; 4= I like it; 5= I like it a lot) :

Lips:

Processed with VSCO with g3 preset
Aqua Lip – Make Up For Ever; Lip Liner  – Essence

New Product:

Aqua Lip by Make Up For Ever

First Impression:

  • Packaging: It is a simple crayon similar to the Eyeliner pencil mentioned above.
  • Color: 1C is a beautiful nude/a touch of peach undertone which is literally your lips but better
  • Formula/Texture: This is a great formula as it is creamy enough to contour your lips as well as fill them in. But stiff enough to not make your contour ‘bleed’. I love this color on its own or as a base for a lipstick/gloss.
  • Price: 19$

First Impression Rating (1=I don’t like it at all; 2=I don’t like it; 3= I don’t know yet; 4= I like it; 5= I like it a lot) :

New Product:

Lip Liner by Essence

First Impression:

  • Packaging: It is a simple crayon similar to the Eyeliner pencil mentioned above.
  • Color: In the nude is similar to the 1C by Make Up For Ever. It is just a bit lighter with a touch of pink undertone.
  • Formula/Texture: The formula is very comparable to one mentioned above as it is a perfect mix of creamy and stiff which allows for a perfect contour while lining your lips.
  • Price: 19$

First Impression Rating (1=I don’t like it at all; 2=I don’t like it; 3= I don’t know yet; 4= I like it; 5= I like it a lot) :

Matte Lip Cream – NYX

New Product:

Matte Lip Cream by NYX

First Impression:

  • Packaging: It is a simple crayon similar to the Eyeliner pencil mentioned above.
  • Color: Monte Carlo – a red with a bit of a brown undertone
  • Formula/Texture: I was not a fan of this formula because it started fading unevenly and even crumbled on my lips which left bits of skin hanging on my lips
  • Price: 5.98$

First Impression Rating (1=I don’t like it at all; 2=I don’t like it; 3= I don’t know yet; 4= I like it; 5= I like it a lot) :

        1. Have a great day! I just saw your grungy mermaid look and maybe I will try some more color in the future as well…that is typically out of my comfort zone. But seeing how pretty it looks on you got me inspired!

          1. You too lovely. Aaw thank you. I don’t usually go for such bright shades, but I found the colours so pretty I had to try them☺ Would love to see a post if you do a bright look. I’m sure it’d look lovely on you xx

    1. I have to say that I like the fact that they are not too pigmented because that’s how I personally prefer my blushes but if you prefer the more ‘matte’ and pigmented type of blushes than the new blushes may not be for you.
For the price of the lip liners, you can’t do anything wrong.

Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving a comment. I truly appreciate it.

Have a great end of the weekend!

    1. Thank you so much, beautiful!
I really can recommend the Nars concealer. It is so far the best I have tried. I agree, it is so difficult to find a great one! A good drugstore one is the Maybelline age rewind one 🙂

      Have a lovely day!

    1. Thank you so much for taking the time and reading my post and commenting! I love NYX, however the I was a bit disappointed with the Monte Carlo one…as it crumbled on my lips. Do you apply anything underneath or on top of it?
